A Ruggedised Acer Chromebook

Why a Chromebook?

A couple or reasons

  1. They are cheap…they are very cheap when comparing with a laptop
  2. They might me specified by your school
  3. They start fast and work fast with cloud based applications.
  4. They usually do not require much security as they run Chrome operating system and most of their use involves accessing programs on line such as Zoom, Gmail and Youtube.

Acer have produced a decent product here that has a strong focus on robustness and long battery life. Two requirements that are considered of high importance in the education sector. It comes with a spill resistant keyboard, it has a built in web camera and a 11.6″ screen.

This is a good rugged Chromebook that will work well in the NZ educational system.
